- The Swedish Coeliac Association (Svenska Celiakiförbundet) is an independent non-profit organization that represents patients with coeliac disease, lactose intolerance or allergy to milk protein or soy protein.
- We have 21 000 members in local chapters all over Sweden.

Vision
People with coeliac disease, lactose intolerance, allergy to milk protein or soy protein shall be diagnosed as early as possible, a diagnose makes a healthier life possible.
Organization
The local chapters are run by a large number of volunteers. Our annual congress appoints a board consistent of seven persons. The associations’s secretary general directs the office with hired staff in Stockholm.
Up to 3 percent of the Swedish population is estimated to have coeliac disease. Most of them don’t know they have it and haven’t been diagnosed yet.
